Common Name or Meaning The Weixi Holcoglossum [An area of Yunnan Province China] - In China Wei Xi Cao She Lan

Flower Size 1.2" [3 cm]

Found in Yunnan China in broad-leaved forests on tree trunks at elevations of 2500 to 3000 meters as a miniature to small sized, cold growing epiphyte with a pendulous, short stem carrying many nearly basal, subterete, fleshy acuminate leaves that blooms in the spring on a short, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence with ovate floral bracts.
