Found in SAn Luis Potosi, Guerrero and Hidalgo states of Mexico as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte at elevations of 1400 to 1500 meters with, clustered, small, ovate pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, linear-lanceolate leaves and flowers in the summer on a slightly fractiflex, terminal, single flowered inflorescence with 5 to 6, inflated, tubular bracts .
