Found in Peru in lower level wet cloud forests at elevations around 1700 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte blooming in the spring through fall on a pendant, basal, 2 to 3" [5 to 7.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 2 bracts.
