Common Name The Blade-like Kefersteinia [A reference to the leaves or the free callus]
Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]
Found in Colombia and Ecuador in very wet montane forests at elevations of 1000 to 1300 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with distichous, conduplicate and articulated at the base, sheaths carrying, progressively larger, narrowly lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms at most any time of the year on an axillary, erect, 2" [5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence holding the the flower below mid-leaf height.
