A small sized species found from Panama, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru occuring in moist forests at an altitude of 100 to 1400 meters that is a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte without pseudobulbs, having narrowly elliptic, acute, gradually narrowing below into the conduplicate base leaves with imbricating basal, conduplicate sheaths that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, 12" [30 cm] long, wiry, axillary, single flowered inflorescence holding the flower at mid leaf. Keep wet year round for the best results.
