Common Name The Eyed Kefersteinia

Found in northwestern Ecuador and Colombia in wet, montane cloud forests as a miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte at elevations of 600 to 1500 meters and requires year round water and fertilizer and has no pseudobulbs with an erect, short stem enveloped completely by several distichous, erect to spreading, linear-lanceolate, acute leaves that are articulated basally to the leaf sheaths and blooms at most any time of the year on an axillary, horizontal, 1 1/5" [3 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence .
