Full Shade Summer

Common Name Vasquez' Kefersteinia [Bolivian Orchid Enthusiast current]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Peru and Bolivia in very wet montane forests without location as a miniature to small sized epiphyte with narrowly elliptic, conduplicate below into the elongate sheath leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, 1.4 to 1.6" [4 to 4.5 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence.

This species and K pulchella are similar and may be conspecific, if so then K pulchella has precedence and K vasquezii would be relegated to being a synonym.
