Common Name Villena's Kefersteinia [Ecuadorian co discoverer of species current]

Found in Peru as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte occuring in wet montane forests in deep shade at elevations around 1100 meters with a fan shaped growth made up of conduplicate, imbricating, leaf-bearing sheaths and carrying lanceolate, acute, tapered to slender leaves with a petiolate, conduplicate base that blooms on successive axillary, lax, 1 3/4" [4 cm] long inflorescence encased by 3 to 4 scarious, imbricating basal bracts occuring at any time of the year.
