Found in Costa Rica in Atlantic slope, premontane rain forest to cloud forest and disturbed primary forests at elevations around 1000 to 1100 meters as a small sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte that blooms in the summer on a pendant, 1.2 to 1.6" [3 to 4 cm] long, single flowered inflorescence with 3 to 4 bracts.
