Found in Morelos state of Mexico in oak forests within volcanic rocky soils at elevations around 2000 meters as a miniature to small szied, cool to cold growing terrestrial with an erect stem enveloped by the basal, petiolate base elliptic-lanceolate leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, secund, many flowered inflorescence.
