Common Name Brade's Laelia [Polish curator of Rio de Janiero botanical garden 1900's]

Found in Minas Gerais Brazil at elevations of 1100 to 1400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, "rupicolous" lithophyte in cracks and crevasses of rock outcropings with cylindrical pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, elliptic, fleshy leaves with incurved margins that blooms in the late spring and early summer on an erect, terminal, 2 1/4" [6 cm] long, laxly few flowered inflorescence.
