Found in SE Brazil as a hot to warm growing epiphyte at lower elevations where it blooms in the fall.
The in situ plant photo is from Boia Ceia', Sao Paulo State, Brazil at an elevation of 2 meters in the first scrub hammock off the beach on trunks and limbs of small trees with lichen. Very Wet!!
