Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1675 meters as a miniature sized warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, suberect to erect, ramicauls enveloped completely by 6 to 12 lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, narrowly elliptical, acuminate, gradually narrowing below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on a .8" [2 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence
