Found in Colombia at 2400 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with erect, ramicauls enveloped by 6 lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, acute, gradually narrows below into the base leaf that blooms in the late summer on a 3/4" to 1" [2 to 2.5 cm] long, successively single flowered inflorescence holding the flower just beyond the leaf..
