Found in Oriente province of Cuba at elevations around 1325 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly ovate, obtuse, ciliate margined, cuneate and contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms on a filiform, loose, lightly flexuous, to .48 to .6" [.45 to 1.5 cm] long , successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
