Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1000 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphtye with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped completely by 4 to 5, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, narrowly elliptic, tridenticulate, gradually narrows below into the cuneate base leaf that blooms in the fall on an erect, .8" [2 cm] long, successively single several flowered inflorescence.
