Found in Panama at elevations around 2300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphtye with erect slender ramicauls enveloped by 4 to 7 lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, erect, elliptic, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the fall on 1 to 2, erect, terete, 1.6" [4 cm] long, successively single several flowered inflorescence
