Found in Cauca department of Colombia at elevations around 30 to 100 meters as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls enveloped by 2, minutely scabrous, oblique lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, narrowly elliptical, emarginate, acute, acuminate, tridenticulate, cuneate and contracted below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a slender, erect, congested, to .88" [2.2 cm] long, successively single, to 8 flowered inflorescence exceeding the leaf in length with acute floral bracts
