Found in Guatemala at elevations around 2200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with eret ramicauls enveloped by 2 to 4, microscopically dentate lepanthiform sheaths with dilate, acuminate ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic, acute, tridentate, the central lobe longest, narrowing below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the winter on 1 to 2, usually shorter than the leaf, .64 to 1.72" [1.6 to 4.3 cm] long, successively single, several flowered inflorescence.
