Found in Cundinamarca Colombia in temperate forests at elevations around 2500 meters as a to medium sized, pendant, cold growing epiphyte with to 20" [50 cm] or longer branches giving rise to short ramicauls enveloped by 1, lepanthiform sheath and carrying a single, apical, pendant, coriaceous, glabrous, elliptical, obtuse, 3 veined, basally rounded and contracted into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and summer on an ascending, .25" [1.5 mm] successively few flowered, racemose inflorescence arising from near the apex of the ramicaul.
