Found in The Dominican Republic at elevations of 1000 to 1500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with slender, erect ramicauls envelopepd by 7, cornucopiate, amrginate, acute, ciliate margined lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic-lanceolate, minutely denticulate margin, acute, tridenticulate apically, narrowing below intothe petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring on to 4, capillary, distally distichous, dense, successively single to 20 flowered inflorescnce that is much shorter than the leaf
