Common Name The Ruschia-Like Leaf Lepanthes

Found in French Guiana, Surinam, Venezuela in cloud forests at elevations of 1800 to 2475 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, ramicaul enveloped by 7 imbricate, ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, erect, elliptic, acute leaf that blooms in the spring on 1 to 2, erect, 1" [2.5 cm] long, fractiflex, successively single flowered inflorescence

CAUTION... I am not sure of these ID's so please use with caution. The first photo fits Foldats drawing for the leaf, petals and lip but differs in the sepals and flower color. The second photo fits Romero [2000]/Dunsterville [1972/1979 as L pteropogon] in all respects other than the leaf shape.
