Common Name The Ruschia-Like Leaf Lepanthes

Found in French Guiana, Surinam, Venezuela in cloud forests at elevations of 1800 to 2475 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with an erect, ramicaul enveloped by 7 imbricate, ciliate, lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, coriaceous, erect, elliptic, acute leaf that blooms in the spring on 1 to 2, erect, 1" [2.5 cm] long, fractiflex, successively single flowered inflorescence
