Found in Napo and Morona-Santiago Ecuador in cloud forests at elevations around 2100 to 2600 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing scandent epiphyte with a slender, suberect, prolific ramicaul enveloped by 3, ciliate lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, obtuse, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the late spring through fall on a filiform, loose, subflexuous, .8" [2 cm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence.
