Common Name The Verapaz Lepanthes [A region of Guatemala that is rich in Lepanthes species]

Found in Guatemala in cloud forets at elevations around 1700 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing, caespitose epiphyte with erect ramicauls enveloped by lepanthiform sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, elliptic-orbicular, green, tridentate, central lobe triangular, laterals obliquely acute, similar in size, gradually narrowing and subcanaliculate below into the shortly petiolate base leaf that blooms on a longer than the leaf, distichous, .88 to 1.68" [2.2 to 4.2 cm] long, successively single, 5 to 8 flowered inflorescence enveloped basally by floral bracts.
