Found in Cochabamba Bolivia in riverine forests and cloud forests at elevations around 2450 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with erect, slender ramicauls enveloped by around 7, close fitting, lepanthiform sheaths with dilated ostia and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptic, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the early summer on a filiform, congested, disitichous, successively several flowered inflorescence
