Common Name Zolinger's Luisia [Swiss Orchid Botanist 18 - 1900's] - In China Chang Ye Chai Zi Gu
Flower Size 1/4" [8.5 cm]
Found in the Andaman Islands, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Borneo, Java and Sumatra on trees in montane forests at elevations of sealevel to 1000 meters as a medium to large sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a mostly pendulous, apically uprising stem carrying, terete, obtuse, channeled above leaves that blooms in the spring on a .4" [1 cm] long, several flowered inflorescence with very short rounded floral bracts.
