Common Name Yellow Laelia
Flower Size 2 1/2 to 3 1/2" [6.25 to 8.75 cm]
A Brazilian, medium sized, cool to warm growing epiphytic plant, with a clavate, slightly ribbed pseudobulb carrying a single, apical, oblong-ligulate, obtuse or rounded, rigid, erect, blue green leaf, that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a racemose, to 9 1/2" [24 cm] long inflorescence subtended by a large pale green sheath with 2 to 6, fragrant or not, waxy, not opening fully flowers.
