A cool to warm growing, medium sized, Brazilian epiphyte with narrowly oblong-conical, compressed, ancipitous pseudobulb carrying 2, erect-spreading, membraneous, narrowly ligulate-lanceolate, acute or shortly acuminate, long attenuate below leaves that blooms in the summer through the autumn on a pendant, 8" [20 cm] long, densly many flowered inflorescence with fragrant flowers and is an evergreen species that requires even water and fertilizer year round.
