Flower Size

Found in Junin Peru at elevations around 750 meters as a super-mini sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with very small, inconspicuous pseudobulbs enveloped completely by 3 to 4, distichous, imbricating sheaths with the uppermost 2, leaf bearing and carrying a single, apical, thickened, lanceolate, acute leaf that is somewhat "U" shaped in crossection and has wrinkled, garnet-red, raised network on sunken green background and blooms in the late spring and sumemr on an axillary, erect, slender, 1.4" [3.5 cm] long, racemsoe inflorescence arising on a recently matured pseudobulb and carrying the several [9 to 15] flowers in an apical crowded sphere of flowers
