Found from Costa Rica to Panama on trunks of small trees in moss at elevations of 700 to 1400 meters as a super-miniature sized, warm growing epiphyte with 5 equitant, spreading, semi-elliptic to linear-oblong, congested, fleshy, acute, imbricating leaves and leaf sheaths that blooms in the summer on an axillary, 1.6" [4 cm] long, slender, flexuous, several flowered inflorescence.
