Common Name Teysman's Macropodanthus [Dutch Botanist 1800's]

Found on Java and Sumatra at elevations of 1250 to 1900 meters as a miniature to just small sized, warm growing, monopodial epiphyte with thick white roots on a stem carrying 4 to 6, tworanked, oblong to lanceolate, unevenly bilobed apically, thick and fleshy leaves that blooms in the spring on a few to several [6 to 11] flowered, 4.4" to 5.85" [11 to 14.5 cm] long, inflorescence with 3 small sheaths spaced apart and short, obtuse, concave floral bracts carrying sweetly fragrant, simultaneously opening flowers.
