Found in Sulawesi in mossy montane forests on vines and small trees at elevations of 1400 to 1900 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool, pendent growing epiphyte with a pendent stem with several leaves blooms in the summer on a pendent, basally single branched, to 6" [to 15 cm] long, 8 to 15 successively to 50 flowered inflorescence
