Found in Thailand, penninsular Malaysia, Java at elevations of 750 to 1300 meters in primary and secondary forests as a medium to large sized, horizontal to pendulous, hot to warm growing epiphyte with elongate, horizontal to pendant stems carrying 15+, linear-lanceolate, unequal apically leaves that blooms in the late spring on several, 2" + [5 cm+] long, several [15 to 20] to many flowered infloresecence arising from near the apex of the stem with about half of the flowers open at any one time.
