Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo in mixed hill forests on trees by rivers at elevations around 300 meters as a small sized, hot growing epiphyte with an erect stem carrying several narrowly lanceolate, fleshy, gradually narrowing apically, bilobed, acute lobed, abruptly narrowing below into the base leaves that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a stiff, downwards pointing, 1.6 to 5.2" [4 to 13 cm] long, densely many flowered inflorescence with narrowly triangular, acute floral bracts and carrying fragrant flowers
