Found in Malayisa Borneo and Sumatra at elevations of 700 to 1300 meters as a small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a slender, erect, reddish stem carrying all along the stem to 12, thin, sometimes tinged brown to purple, elliptic-lanceolate, obtuse, marginally undulate leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal , erect, slender, sometimes purple, many flowered inflorescence with greenish yellow flowers that flush with purple with age.
