Found in Fiji, New Caledonia, Samoa and Vanuatu in montane forests at elevations of 300 to 800 meters as a miniature to medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial or lithophyte with short, erect, fleshy stems carrying 3 to 4, ovate-elliptic to elliptic-lanceolate, acute, narrowing below into the slender petiolate base leaves that blooms on a terminal, erect, 3 to 6" [7.5 to 15 cm] long, subdensely many flowered inflorescence
