Common Name Burtt's Diaphananthe

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in eastern Zaire to western Rwanda in montane forests at elevations around 2000 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying close set, oblong to oboval, unequally bilobed apically leaves that blooms on a arising below the leaves, 2.4 to 4" [6 to 10 cm] long, 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence with small bracts.
