Found in northern Peru as a miniature sized epiphyte with no known locality with blackish, erect, slender ramicauls enveloped basally by 2 to 3 tubular sheaths and carrying a single, apical, erect, coriaceous, elliptical, subacute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaf that blooms in the spring and fall
