Found in Found in Rio State to Parana and Minas Gerais in Brazil as a mini-miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with chains of oblong, sulcate, erect pseudobulbs enveloped basally by imbricating, scarious sheaths and carrying 2 apical, erect, aciculate, acuminate leaves and blooms in the summer and fall on a basal, very short inflorescence that just surpasses the scarious sheaths of the pseudobulb and arises on a mature pseudobulb.
