Common Name The Three-Pointed Mesadenella

Found in Peru, southeastern Brazil and to Missiones Argentina in moist forests at lower elevations of 400 to 1000 meters as miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing terrestrial with a short stem and a basal rosette of oblanceolate, acuminate, succulent, medium green sometimes with white spots, decurrent to the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, to 8" [to 20 cm] long, slender, red brown, densely many flowered, racemose inflorescence enveloped basally by 6 to 8, triangular, basally clasping, acute bracts and long-hirsute, as long as the ovaries and extending to the middle of the dorsal sepal floral bracts
