Common Name The Sand Loving Microtis - Notched Onion Orchid

Flower Size 1/8" [.3 cm]

Found in Victoria and Tasmania as a medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial occuring in woodland, coastal heath and swampy grassland where it blooms on an erect, to 20" [50 cm] tall, several tro many flowered inflorescence with 8 to 100 successively opening flowers occuring in the spring and summer.
