Common Name Warscewiczii's Miltoniopsis [Polish Orchid Collector South America 1800's]

Found in Costa Rica, Panama and Choco' and Antioquia Colombia in lower montane cloud forests high in the crowns of trees at elevations of 1000 to 2000 meters as a medium sized, cool to warm growing epiphyte occuring on leguminous trees with ovoid-ellipsoid, apically unifoliate pseudobulbs subtended with 4 to 6 foliaceous bracts with oblong-elliptic leaves that blooms on a lateral, bracteate, 3 to 5 flowered, 1' [30 cm] long, racemose inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb occuring in the fall and spring.
