Common Name The Heart-Shaped Leaf Mischobulbum

A cool to warm growing, forest dwelling, medium sized terrestrial from Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in broadleafed, evergreen, humid primary forests in soils dampened by mists and splash along steep watercourses and found at altitudes of 500 to 1000 meters with a short, creeping rhizome carrying cylindrical pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several, loose sheaths and carrying a single, apical ovate, obtuse to subacute leaf that blooms on an erect, basal, lateral, [10" [to 25 cm] long, laxly 4 to 8 flowered inflorescence that has lanceolate, acuminate bracts and showy flowers.
