Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 1000 to 1250 meters as a medium sized,warm growing epiphyte with smaller pseudobulbs carrying several, plicate, rather narrow, soon deciduous leaves that blooms in the winter on a short, erect, rather few flowered infloresence with very fragrant flowers
