Common Name Hooker's Mormodes [William Hooker - English orchid enthusiast late 1800's]

Flower Size 1.5" [1.5 cm]

Found in Costa Rica and Panama at elevations of 1000 to 1250 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with smaller pseudobulbs, that are leafless at blooming, carrying several, plicate, rather narrow, soon deciduous leaves that blooms in the winter on a short, erect, rather few flowered infloresence carrying very fragrant flowers
