Flower Size

Mr Nir states that the type specimen used by Withner was from Cayman Brac where the species does not occur and so was M thomsoniana. This species is an epiphyte or lithophyte on Grand Cayman Island only and blooms in the spring on a long, slender, peduncle terminating in a laxly many flowered panicle or racemose inflorescence.
