Common Name Tyson's Neobolusia [English School teacher and Botanical collector 1800's]

Found in eastern Cape and Natal, and Orange Free State and Transvaal provinces of South Africa at elevations of 1200 to 2350 meters in montane marshy grasslands as a medium szied, cool to cold growing terrestrial with slender stems arising from 2 basal, narrowly elliptic to oblong leaves and a few smaller ones above which arise from small egg-shaped tubers and bloom in the summer on a lax, 2 to 12 flowered inflorescence.
