Found in Venezuela and Junin Peru at elevations around 1800 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with short, complantate-cylindric pseudobulbs enveloped basally by several disitchous, closely imbricating sheaths with the uppermost 2 being leaf bearing and carrying elliptic-oblong, rounded apically, shortly narrowing below in to the conduplicate base leaves that blooms on a lateral, basal, arcuate-recurved, to 2.4" [to 6 cm] long, subdensely several flowered inflorescence with small reflexed bracts.
