Found in Bangladesh, the western Himalayas, India, The Eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Malaysia in forests or thickets at elevations of 700 to 2500 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cold growing epiphyte with 4 to 5, imbricating, ensiform, weakly falcate, acute, fleshy, sessile leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a terminal, subdensely many flowered inflroescence completely enveloped by scarious bracts and has scarious, lanceolate, acute to acuminate floral bracts.
