Common Name The Mannikin Carrying Oberonia [refers to the lips looking like a little man] - In China Chang Lie Yuan Wei Lan

Found in the eastern Himalayas, Burma, Thailand, Malaysia, Hainan China and Vietnam in valleys on trees at elevations around 400 meters with a short stem enveloped completely by leaf bearing sheaths carrying 5, unequal, uncurved leaves that blooms in the fall on a 6 to 7.2" [15 to 18 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence. Notice the tiny man like figures in the photo.
