Common Name or Meaning The Padang Oberonia [An area of Western Sumatra]

Found in Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, New Guinea and Sulawesi in riverine forests at elevations of 250 to 1600 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a flattened stem carrying about 12, falcate-lanceolate, acute leaves that blooms in the fall on a pendulous, 6" + [15 cm+] long, densly many flowered, shortly pilose and ribbed infloresence.
